Terry D. Groninger Jr.
June 22, 1963 — January 13, 2017
Terry D. Groninger Jr., 53, of Logansport passed away unexpectedly on January 13, 2017 at his residence.
Born on June 22, 1963 in Logansport, he was the son of the late Terry D. and Janice “Jan” L. (Hyman) Groninger, Sr.
Terry was a 1982 Logansport High School graduate.
He was formerly employed at IGA Grocery but spent most of his employment years at Wal-Mart where he worked for over 20 years.
Terry was a member of Southside Fellowship Church of God and he was a member of the Cass County Radio Club.
Survivors include his sister, Sherry Sparks (Shannen) of Walton, niece, Shaylee R. Sparks (Jesse Losch) of Walton, nephew, Shad W.C. Sparks of Walton, great aunt, Gillea Emrah of Ft. Wayne, aunts, Jean Shepard and Nancy Grable (Ron) all of Logansport and uncles, Ron Hyman of Lafayette and Bill Johnston of Logansport. Terry is also survived by numerous cousins.
Terry’s Celebration of Life Service will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jimmy Justice of Southside Fellowship Church of God officiating.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday.
Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
