Born on October 27, 1960 to Lindle and Cecelia Pratt. He is the youngest of 8 (Ed, Vern, Jerry, Linda, Tim, Ron, and his twin Gerry).
He married Cindy Ritter on January 31, 1981 and together they celebrated 44 years of marriage. They have 3 children Diana M. Fletcher (Russ), Beth A. Pratt, and Terry L. Pratt (Courtney). He has two grandchildren Jace L. and Luke D (Terry L. & Courtney).
He loves his family with all his heart and is so proud of who they have become. His grandchildren were the completion of his heart. His sister-in-law Ann Fagner once said that he was made to be a papaw, truer words have never been spoken.
He passed along many of his interests and hobbies to his children and grandchildren including motorcycle riding, playing drums, dirt track racing, drag racing, hunting/fishing and music. Sharing all of his passions was what made it worth doing. Building, playing, and listening alongside the ones he loved is what completed these passions for him.
He worked in auto detailing for most of his life and was very dedicated to his profession. He was able to take vehicles in the worst conditions and make them look new. He wanted everyone to know what it was like to have a brand-new vehicle, even if it was used.
Terry passed at home surrounded by his family. They will be having a celebration of life but there will not be any open services. Friends and family are welcome to stop by the home and send cards to express condolences.
Terry’s online guestbook is available and condolences can be shared with the family at www.ransfuneralhomes.com
