Thomas Eugene Smith

Thomas Eugene Smith, 79 of Logansport passed away at 4:45 a.m., November 6, 2023, at home surrounded by his immediate family.

Born on March 31, 1944, in Continental, Ohio, he was the son of the late Harry and Bertha (Titus) Smith.

Tom retired from National Friction in Logansport.  He was an avid golfer and had many golf buddies over the years.  Tom never knew a stranger and in his younger years he enjoyed working on and painting cars.

He enjoyed spending time with family and watching his grandchildren’s sporting events.

Survivors include his wife, Cindy (Nethercutt) Smith of Logansport, children, Zebbie Hardy (Scott) of Logansport, Tom Smith (Tamera) of Logansport and Molly Smith (Chris Gunter) of Logansport.  He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

He was also preceded in death by 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at Main St. Community Church, 19 E. Main St., Logansport.  Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
