Thomas J. Strunk

A Memorial Service for Thomas J. Strunk, 50 of Royal Center will be held at Deep River Church of Christ in Merrillville at a later date.
He died at 11:19 am, Thursday, April 30, 2009 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born February 18, 1959 in Gary, he was the son of Jerry Morton and Margaret (Schmitt) Cannon. On August 18, 2000 he was married to Nanette Schiller at Valparaiso, she survives.

Tom was a graduate of Hebron High School and was most recently employed at Town/Country in Valparaiso. He was a member of Deep River Church of Christ in Merrilleville and also attended Royal Center United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Nanette Strunk of Royal Center, his mother and father, 3 sisters, Cathleen Craig of Bloomington, Colleen Hope of Lake Station and Christine Witt of Kouts, 2 brothers, Jerry Strunk and Charles Cannon, both of Bloomington, 2 half-sisters, Cindy and Theresa Morton and 3 half-brothers, Michael, Joey and Billy Joe Morton, all of Norwood, Missouri.
