Thomas "Tommy" E. Mize

Thomas E. “Tommy” Mize, 73 of Logansport passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at I.U. Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born on January 30, 1951 in Logansport, he was the son of the late Walter and Mary (Collins) Mize.

Tommy formerly worked for Gordon Wilson Excavating and the Logansport Shrine Club.

He was a former member of the Logansport Shrine Club and the Logansport Eagles.

Tommy enjoyed collecting Coca Cola memorabilia, knives and eagle statues and also going fishing.

Survivors include his children, Sarah Conklin (William) of Kokomo, John Mize (Jaymee) of Logansport and Donald Kauffman of North Vernon, brother, Russell Mize of Logansport, sister, Debra Kime of Royal Center and grandchildren, Thomas Conklin and Kristin Conklin.

He was also preceded in death by sister, Jane Mize, brother, John Albert Mize and sister in law, Patricia Mize.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Marocco Chapel, 119 E. Market St., Logansport.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

Burial will be at Davis Cemetery near Burnettsville.
