Timothy W. Long

Timothy W. Long, 50, of Medaryville passed away Monday, October 9, 2023 at Franciscan Health East Hospital in Lafayette.

Born on October 9, 1973 in Kankakee, Illinois, he was the son of Richard L. Long and Susan (Siefert) Frantzen.

Tim formerly worked at Galfab in Winamac. He also worked installing flooring and carpet. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his local motorcycle club and taking care of his dog, T-Bone, a blue pit rescue.  He loved his fellow biker brothers and his family would like to express gratitude for all they did for Tim.

He is survived by his son, Christopher Schkerke of Bradley, IL., mother, Susan Frantzen of Bonfield, IL., father, Richard L. Long of Bourbonnais, IL.,  brother, Richard Long of Bourbonnais, IL., nieces, Savannah and Madison Long, both of Bonfield, IL. and nephews, Christian Long of Indiana and Noah Long of Bourbonnais, IL.

There will be no funeral services.

There will be a “Last Ride” tribute hosted by his motorcycle club on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at the American Legion Post #96 in Medaryville, where the ride will begin at 1:00 p.m.
