Timothy C. Smith

Timothy Charles Smith, 72, of Grass Creek passed away Sunday morning January 19, 2025. He was born on August 27, 1952 to Maurice and Irene (Hizer) Smith.

Tim was married and shared a memorable and loving life with his late wife Pat (Crippen) Smith.

Tim had many talents and skills that blessed many in his life. He loved his family, farming, woodworking projects, helping others and beyond. However, anyone who knew Tim or talked to him for more than five minutes understood his greatest love was for his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He had a deep, personal relationship with his Lord and was passionate to share Him with others. He was often heard saying, “It’s all about Jesus!”

Survivors include children Lyndee (Shawn) Duhnovsky of Mishawaka, Jodi (Brad) Boldry of Rochester, Jacob (Michelle) Smith of Logansport, Joshua (Sumer) Smith of Amherst, OH, Jamie (Brian) Handy of Peru. Brothers Allan (Cathy) Smith and Mike (Rhonda) Smith both of Grass Creek. Also included are 15 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and one arriving this spring. As well as many nephews, nieces and friends in the community.

 Preceding in death are parents Maurice and Irene Smith, brother Jim Smith and wife Pat Smith.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Metzger Chapel, 123 E. Main St., Kewanna with Pastor Ken Smith officiating.

 Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

 A private burial will be at Grass Creek Cemetery.
