Vera L. Hatt
January 6, 1939 — June 7, 2012
Vera L. Hatt, 73, of Logansport, passed away at 8:26 p.m., Thursday June 7, 2012 at Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born on January 6, 1939, in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Margaret M. (Wickersham) Conn.
On March 5, 1958 Vera married William E. Hatt who survives.
Vera was a member of Victory Baptist Church of Logansport. She loved her dog 'Lilly', her cockatoo
'Tweetie', reading the Bible, and watching 'The Beverly Hillbillies'. Vera will always be remembered for
being compassionate and kind.
Survivors include her husband William E. Hatt, sons; Rickey L. Hatt of Converse, and David E. Hatt of
Logansport, daughters; Pamela Hatt of Peru, and Cynthia Hatt of Logansport, and brother, James
E. Conn and wife Sandy of Merrillville. Vera is also survived by grandchildren; Sarah, Crystal, and Brian
Hatt, and also great grandchildren Joey, Noel, and Hope Hatt, and Adrianna Francisco.
She was also preceded in death by sisters; Jean P. Loonsten, Dorothy Bridge, Barbara A. Robinson, and
also one brother, Richard Conn.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday June 12, 2012 at Marocco ' Rans Funeral Chapel with
visitation starting at 11 until the time of services, with Pastor Ralph Hanson officiating.
Burial will be at Ever Rest Memorial Park.
