Wayne Allen Hile

Wayne A. Hile, 77, of Logansport died at 5:15 a.m., Saturday, June 18, 2011 at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis.
Born on May 11, 1934 in Carroll County, he was the son of the late Lester R. and Minnie (Caldwell) Hile.
Wayne was a 1953 Deer Creek High School graduate, a graduate of Indiana State University and he was also a U.S. Navy veteran.
Wayne was a teacher who retired from the Logansport School Corporation in 1971. He was a former manager of the Logansport Municipal Swimming pool, he volunteered for the Boys Scouts, YMCA and the Red Cross. He especially enjoyed reading, swimming, canoeing and camping.
Survivors include one sister, Betty Gordon and her husband Russell A�A�?A�A...?IkeA�A�?A�i�� of Logansport, and one brother, William Hile and his wife Wilma of Florida. He was also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brothers; Robert and Paul Hile, and sisters; Marjorie Arion, and Jeanette Beeler.
Services will be private.
Burial will be at Hopewell Cemetery, Deer Creek.
