William E. Hatt

William E. Hatt, 75, of Logansport, passed away at 11:53 p.m., Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Chase Center.
Born on July 7, 1938 in Walton, he was the son of the late Charles A. and Mary J. (Vore) Hatt. On March 5, 1958, he married Vera L. Conn. She preceded him in death on June 7, 2012.
William was a 1958 Logansport High School graduate and was a U.S. Army and National Guard veteran.
He retired in 2003 after 25 years from Myers Spring.
William was a member of Victory Baptist Church of Logansport and he enjoyed traveling, camping, working on his cars, riding motorcycles, and working outside
Survivors include sons; Rickey L. Hatt of Converse, and David E. Hatt of Logansport, daughters; Pamela Hatt of Peru, and Cynthia Hatt of Logansport, sisters, Bonnie Sue Sullivan of LaPorte, Betty Jo LeDonne of Rhode Island, Merry Edith Zervy of Kewanna and Vivian Louise Mongoose of Peru, grandchildren; Sarah, Crystal, and Brian Hatt, and great grandchildren Joey and Noel Hatt, Hope Wall, and Adrianna Francisco.
He was also preceded in death by sisters, Annabelle Steelsmith and Edna May Hatt.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ralph Hanson officiating.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
Burial with military rites will be performed at Ever Rest Memorial Park.
