Services for William E. Louthan, 67, of Logansport, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in Marocco Funeral Chapel.
He died at 5:45 p.m. Saturday, March 3, 2007 in Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born May 23, 1939, in Kokomo, he was the son of William Ervan and Hazel Marie (Rust) Louthan. He was married October 15, 1960 to Brenda Nethercutt, who survives.
A 1958 graduate of Kokomo High School, Mr. Louthan was a route salesman for Hostess Cupcakes and retired in 2002. He formerly worked for Lewis Brothers Bakery.
He was a member of the BCTGM Union, the USA Fishing Association, the FWL Bass Fishermanchr(39)s Association, and the Crappie Association. He was an avid bow hunter and bowler.
He also was a member of Refuge Worship Center in Logansport.
Also surviving are his father, William Ervan Louthan; three daughters, Christina L. Hackett, Rabecca L. Hipsher and her husband, Shawn, and Ruth Berkshire, all of Logansport; one son, William Ervin Louthan and his wife, Theresa, Alabama; one brother, James R. Louthan and one sister, Janet Overstreet and her husband, Bill, all of Las Vegas, Nevada; seven grandchildren, Shawn Hipsher Jr., Melissa Hipsher, James R. Hackett, Bryan J. Berkshire and Donald Berkshire; three great-grandchildren, Haylee Autumn Hipsher, Preston Devine Hipsher and Dyllon Edward Hipsher.
He is preceded in death by his mother, one grandchild, Caitlynn Hipsher, one brother, John R. Louthan and one sister, Peggy Jo Tolle.
Pastor David Payton will officiate at the services. Burial will be in St. Johnchr(39)s Cemetery, Logansport.
Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m., Thursday at the funeral chapel.
