Wilma K. Bowers, 80, of Lucerne passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024, at her son’s home in Delphi.
Born on January 1, 1944, in Logansport, she was the daughter of William and Josephine (Eikelburner) Frushour.
She was a graduate of Lucerne High School.
Wilma formerly worked as a waitress for the Corner Pub in Kokomo, Wal-Mart and the Hamilton County Fairgrounds.
She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church and the Lucerne Lions Club. Wilma enjoyed puzzles and crocheting.
Survivors include her sons, Stephen Scott of Delphi and Charles Scott (Mary) of Darlington, mother, Josephine Frushour of Lucerne, sister, Joy Gorringe (Curt) of Ft. Wayne, niece, Amanda Gorringe and nephew, Alex Gorringe, grandchildren, Stephanie Harris, Sarah Rentschler (Ryan), Kathryn Moore (John), Ashton Scott, Hannah Scott, Drew Scott and Josh Scott and great grandchildren, Liam Harris, Layla Kleber, Kelsey McCaslin, Arie Rentschler, Kyle Quillen, Collin Quillen, Simon Moore and Whitney Moore.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Frushour.
Services will be at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, June 27, 2024, at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Harrison Chapel, 304 S. Chicago St., Royal Center. Pastor Tim Minnick will officiate.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
Burial will be at Zion Cemetery in Lucerne at a later date.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Lucerne Lions Club.
