Services for Wilma L. Kistler, 83, of Bloomington formerly of Royal Center will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 25, 2009 at Arlington United Methodist Church, 1820 W. Arlington Road, Bloomington.

She died at 7:45 p.m., Friday, May 22, 2009 at Garden Villa Healthcare Center in Bloomington.

Born on September 22, 1925 in Royal Center, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Mary Ida (Keiper) McKee. On July 7, 1946 she married Calvin A. Kistler and he preceded her in death on January 1, 1992.

She was a member of the Arlington United Methodist Church. Wilma was a former Librarian for the Greentown Public Library and the Ringling Museum of Art.

Survivors include daughter in law, Janice Kistler, grandson, Jay Andrew Kistler, step sister in law, Alice Monesmith and nieces and nephews, Richard Sommers and wife Madaline, Carol Martin, Mary Sayers and husband Ed, Gerald McKee and wife Judy and Karen Laidig and husband Bruce.

She was also preceded in death by son, Andrew Kistler, brothers, Robert and Lewis McKee and sister, Clara Sayers.

Calling will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.

Graveside Services and Burial will be at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at Grass Creek Cemetery. Pastor David Sommers will officiate.

Local Arrangements are being handled by Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Homes, 304 S. Chicago St., Royal Center.
